Kylie Gibson

Kylie Gibson was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and attended Washington State University, where she graduated with a degree in criminal justice and broadcast journalism through the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication in 2021.

While attending Washington State University, Kylie anchored, produced and reported for the student news, Murrow News 8.

Kylie's career started at KPVI News 6 in Pocatello, Idaho, in 2021, as a multimedia journalist, crime reporter and weekend anchor.

While reporting in Pocatello, Kylie received the 2021-22 Idaho State Broadcast Association award for best investigative series on the fentanyl crisis in Eastern Idaho.

Kylie joined the NBC Montana team in March 2023 as the 5 p.m. anchor and reporter.

When she is not working, Kylie enjoys exploring Montana, spending time with friends, volunteering at local animal shelters and spending time with her animals.
