A teenager injured both legs after officials said she fell approximately 50 feet into the water at Gunlock Falls in Utah.

They said the 18-year-old was cliff jumping at the falls when she fell feet-first into possibly shallow, rocky water. Utah State Park officials said the woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries to her legs, including a suspected femur fracture.

State park rangers and Washington County Search and Rescue responded to assist.

The teen was taken in stable condition via Life Flight to St. George Regional Hospital.

While the weather is warming up and people want to recreate at state parks or nearby, pay attention to signs," Utah State Park officials said. "It is dangerous, especially near the Gunlock Falls — serious injury and death can and have occurred. Recreate at your own risk, know you limits and ability levels before recreating.”

This was the second rescue after a fall at Gunlock Falls on Saturday.
